I wanted to share an activity for Book 1 that worked very well with a group of youth. I think it could work for any age.
At the beginning of this unit I cut out "suitcases" from manilla folders, so that the fold was the bottom of the bag and there were handles on top. We then talked about what we would take with us on our trip to the next world. On the inside each person was o represent the things that they would take with them in either pictures, drawings or words. On the outside they represented what would be left behind. It was a great thing to come back to as we worked through the sections. It really helped to bring things into focus and served as a place to keep other handouts and memorization.
