Checklists for 1st Session

1.       Opening Prayers

2.       Introductions - Name, Icebreaker activity

3.       Consultation

- Confirm meeting days (approx.)

- Establish meeting times (at least 2 hours needed; proposed goal of    2 Sections/meeting plus an activity)

- Explain timing ( my time is my gift to you...; we will start promptly at "time", please join us ASAP)

- Missed meetings

- Format choices (small groups first then move to large group; mix it up!)

- Memorization (important, but don't be intimidated)

- Activities (seek suggestions)

- Sharing about the Arts

- Email Addresses/Contact information

- Rules of discussion
Basic understanding - you're invited to a deeper discussion and/or research of a subject outside of the study circle and to share your findings in the next meeting.

Please feel free to speak up if you don't understand a particular word or concept!

Avoiding the dictionary

Respect each other's opinions, but always go to the source!!!

- Parking lot - explain (a place to put ideas/suggestions/comments that you don't have time to discuss immediately, you "park" the idea until later).

- Summarize after each section!
