The qualities needed by teachers when doing their Book 2 practice -- either with new believers, seekers or believers who are not seen too often -- are the same. To help our class visualize how different qualities look to someone, I printed out the virtues pages put together by Liz Arrambide for the Book 2 Practice (download above).

Cutting the separate virtues apart, I passed them out to teams of 2. After a little consultation and rehearsal, they acted out the virtue without using the actual term or any of its derivatives. The rest of the class had to guess which virtue they were acting when they were finished. This activity was fun and revealing--in some cases we saw that what you might hope you are portraying is not necessarily how you are perceived.
