Break-up Activities are interesting ways to break your Study Circle into small groups/pairs for activities or study.  They make nice segues into other activities.

Quote Break-up - Cut up a short quote into same number of pieces as participants. Tape a portion of the quote on the backs of everyone and ask them to line up in the correct order without saying anything. Everyone can see the quote portion except their own. Have the people nearest to each other break into groups.

Birthday Break-up - Ask the participants to line up in order of birthday(not by age) -- without saying a word. Have the people nearest to each other break into groups.

Spiritual Quality Dramatization - A simple idea for expression and getting people into pairs using a little drama. Give out a slip of paper to each participant, on which you have written a spiritual quality - for example, joy, detachment, humility, sacrifice (make two slips of paper for each quality). Everyone finds their partner by silently acting their quality.
