To share the magnitude of the Bab's travels during His lifetime.
Materials
Paper, pens, ball of yarn.
Time Period
15 minutes
Steps
1. Write the names of all the places that the Bab traveled (as outlined in the book) on separate pieces of paper.
2. Place the pieces of paper on the ground like a map--try make the outside boundaries of the "map" at least 10 feet apart.
3. Ask one person to stand near each of the places. Hand a large ball of yarn or string to the person standing near Bushir (where the Bab was born) and ask the group to help them to figure out where the ball should be passed next (while the first person continues to hold their piece of string).
4. Continue to do this until the string has been passed to each place on the Bab's journeys. The end result will have the string criss-crossing the room.
Other Applications
This activity can also be done using the exiles of Baha'u'llah.
