A beautiful art project to create a series of artistic panels depicting a quotation from the lesson:

"Shut your eyes to estrangement, then fix your gaze upon unity".

See full quotation below!

Materials: 50 scrap matt boards, 11inches by 14 inches, from a framing shop. Sky blue primer paint, various acrylic paints, paintbrushes, clear gloss varnish.

1. On each matt board draw an 8 by 10 panel in each and primed front and back with sky blue. The backs must be primed or the matt boards will warp.

2. Print out on paper the individual letters of the quotation, Gigi font at size 144, and transfer one letter to each matt board (see picture).

3. Have children/junior youth paint each matt board / panel using acrylic paints and group them together to form the quote (see picture of some of the jr. youth painting).

4. Let the panels dry, then spray them with a clear gloss varnish.

The 50 panels will be erected at 2 upcoming Feasts, in the two cities in which the children reside, Burnaby and New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. Afterwards the panels will be distributed to the children to bring home.
